According to this link, the price cut will indeed be announced in January and will take effect on the 29th of February. Bear in mind, its just a rumour.

Are they really going to drop the price every few months now? They just had a price drop 2 months ago, did they not? So, what happens if the Arcade drops down to $199 Pro to $249 and Elite to $299 while the Wii drops down to $199 (if this some how effects their sales)? This could actually make things worse for Sony if the Wii and 360 have something at *$199*.

I think Rockstar North, Retro Studios, and Firaxis Studios all deserve to be there.

I would also say Lionhead, but that would have been before "The Movies" came out.

To crown off my list, I think Harmonix deserves a spot on that list.

Except that includes for the PS3 a console launch in Europe and 2 $100 price drops.
