This is before 9/11... 9/11 was his reaction to these things.. Because he thought that would make it better? If so...he wasn't very intelligent was he? Yeah, he was a real idiot for thinking that a violent outburst could solve anything. Luckily we took the high road and....um.... :?
computer science? I think you'll have a decent amount of free time. In college, you realize that technically all of your time is free time. What you do with each day is entirely up to you. The most important thing is to always, always, ALWAYS go to class. Beyond that you're free to do anything. If you want to be a straight A student you wont have much time to party during the week, so expect to turn down a LOT of fun stuff. If it's your first year and you wanna just test the waters a bit, do a little of everything and get average grades (above a 3.0), then you'll find that you have waaay too much free time.
I never give to the randoms who ask for money, because honestly theyre just trying to hustle you. I only donate to musicians/anyone who offers me a small service or entertainment in exchange for what i can give, and those people who are genuinely homeless. those people who have nobody to turn to, who have nobody to call a real friend, who have been ravaged by the worst that our society has to offer yet still keep on keepin on for the sake of life's inherent value. Basically I give based on what i see in someone's eyes....a con man, or a human just barely holding onto their humanity.
18 to just grab a beer if i want it, but 14-15 for just getting a random, one beer a night thing at a family party or whatever. Im still 18 now, i dont really know if i can get wasted in front of them. probably not....
Well i just got hired yesterday, and in manhattan no less so yeah....go for the minimum wage, it beats the HELL out of unemployment any day, regardless of the job.
[QUOTE="pis3rch"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"] Oh my favorite, the the classic air of superiority of the non-smoker. jimmyjammer69
Maybe the idea that it's a smart decision not to start comes from smokers responding wistfully to the question "do you smoke?" with:
Unfortunately yes, i avoided smoking for almost all of my teenage years but then i got to college and started smoking and drinking...pis3rch
If i really have to elaborate, the "unfortunately" comes from the fact that I live in new york and smoking is way too expensive, especially for a poor college student. If i lived somewhere else it would have just been a simple yes, as I do enjoy smoking.
