Dude. I mean what the **** I can't go on any game site or have any intelligent discussions without the illogical fanboy crap. Listen, i own all 3 systems and they are all good in their own ways. There is no need to bash the other system or game because you don't have or can't play it.

The PS3:

PROS:

1. One of the most well made, advanced, and reliable gaming console of all time.

2. if you want to be wowed this generation by games, this system's first party titles don't disappoint. this alone makes tis system a must have. For some reason this games are underrated by gaming sites and are overlooked by gamers that only care about reviews. Games like uncharted, ratchet and clank, motorstorm, mgs4, resistance, lbp, gt5 prologue, heavenly sword were just incredible.

3. system updates. If you compare what features the ps3 had when it came out 2 years to how it is now, the difference is like night and day. even though alot of these features should have been out of the box, sony has showed alot of dedication to improvement and grow so its always exciting when a new update is announced.

4. although the online is not quite up to par with xbl, when you buy the system, alot of what you will eventually need is already standard in every system. Wifi, harddrive, hdmi, blu ray.

5. Unlike the xbox 360, the ps3 is compatible with alot of devices with usb. You also can put any 2.5 labtop harddrive in your ps3

Cons:

1. The biggest problem with the PS3 is third party support bias. This is the primary reason why the 360 version of games always outsell the ps3 even if sometimes the ps3 version is slightly better. Soulcaliber 4 is the perfect example of Third party bias. The ps3 version originally had the advantage of having better graphics,darth vader, and better controller. But what happened was namco went and didn't add rumble, trophies, or universal voice chat . WTF! Don't tell me that the ps3 architecture is too hard to implement rumble, trophies and voice chat. An old game like tekken dark resurrection also made by namco had all these features. So what did i do? I got the 360 version. who wouldn't. Sony should make sure that their third party games aren't gimped!

2. delays! wtf! Sony should give a realistic date as to when their games are coming out. alot all of their games are delayed or the launch is ****ed up in some way shape or form. LBP would have sold so much more if it was released properly.

3. Sony doesn't hype the games when they are actually being released. They hype it up when the game is 5% done. Look at resistance 2. where are the midnight launches? where are all of the commercials? 4 months ago this game was being hyped the **** up, where are they when it counts the most?

4. All of these skus. 20 gig, 40 gig, 60 gig, 80 gig, and now 160 gig. none of these skus are needed because all they are doing is changing the size of the harddrive. As a customer i will always thing "Maybe I'll wait until they offer a bigger harddrive in a few months or a cheaper price". So you have all these customers just waiting to buy you system until a better deal. not a good way to sell systems now SONY!

5. Complex architecture. This is a double edge sword. In the hands of a developer that knows how to use the ps3, you get gems. In the hands of developers that don't use the cell and its dedicated ram, you get games with large installs and these developers complaining that ps3 doesn't have enough ram. Well if you don't use the cell than yes you are only working with 256mb of ram. If you are nailing a nail into a wall and you are using the handle to do that, don't complain when you are having a hard time.

xbox 360

Pros

1. xbox live nuff said. Every game is guaranteed voice chat and will almost always have multiplayer.

2. gamercard and achievement. This to me is the identity of the 360 and the innovation in gaming that it will be remembered for. Unlike the PS3 trophies, achievements are guaranteed in every game. With ps3 games its hit or miss.

3. third party game bias. The 360 version of a game is almost always either better or identical to the ps3 version. Some companies like valve hate ps3 and either make the game exclusively for 360 or give it to some other company to make a crap port that later gets no tech support. left for dead is exclusive to the 360, at least for now.

4.exclusive **** microsoft always gets exclusive dlc for the hottest games. ex. gta 4, fallout 3, tomb raider.

5. When their exclusive games come out, they hype the **** out of them and they do so at the right time. microsoft's marketing department is the best in the game. A game as wack as halo 3 was made to look like the greatest game of all time when it was released.

CONs.

1. RROD. nuff said. BIGGGGGGGGG PROBLEM! I have gone through 5 xbox 360s. that is unacceptable.

2. The falsely low price advertisement. The system is 199. but the harddrive is 100 dollars. The wifi adapter is 100 dollars. you do the math. If you want your 360 to do half of what the PS3 does be prepared to spend the same amount, if not more. Microsoft overcharges for their accessories so they can show you that deceiving price.

3. Why do i have to pay for xbl? really!

4.Lack of a first party. All third party games are going to be multiplatform, so what is going to define the 360 in the long run. exclusive dlc is not enough. microsoft is stealing alot of games that the worry always only on the playstation. but those games are still offered on that platform regardless. So the deciding factor in this generation will be the first party games. In that case SONY has the upper hand. After gears of war 2, what other games are in store exclusively for the 360?

5. The 360 is at the end of its life cycle. You would have to be a moron to buy a 360 now because of this. xbox consoles only have 5 year life cycles. xbox 1 only lasted 5 years and to make things worse, microsoft completely cut all support for it shortly thereafter. There are new rumors than the next xbox will appear at gdc and I'm not surprised.

THE Wii

I'm not even going to talk about the wii because i feel that it caters to a different audience and has a different purpose. Comparing this console to a ps3 or 360 is apples and oranges.

At the end of the day, its best to have both systems so you don't feel left out or are jealous of the other gamer. This is what causes fanboyism. I love and I hate both of my systems for the reasons I mentioned. But when the games come out either system, my wanted list is long.

yeah, I sent my impressions to konami. Hopefully they will fix the controls by the time the game comes out. Don't get me wrong, the game is awesome. it would be perfect if they fixed these things.

This game has the potential to be the best online shooter ever.

Pros:

The graphics are top notch as expected. Lots of detail and sharp images.

Character customizations are better than rainbow six vegas 2 and easy to do.

Maps are great. not too big, not to small.

The lobby system is very good. you can find matches fast and the lobby fills up quickly.

ConS:

THE CONTROLS, THE CONTROLS, THE CONTROLS.

You character walks to slow. there is no run feature.

The cover system controls are retarded. Why could they have just copied r6V cover system?

You have to unload a whole clip to down an opponent unless you hit them in the head.

Long distance sniping is very inaccurate.

melee attacks don't work well even when right in front of the opponent.

no voice chat. If the final doesn't have this, this game will be corny.

If they fix the controls in this game and simplify the commands to do your moves, this game can beat any multiplayer game. Also, all multiplayer shooter games should have voice chat. I don't know why developers try not to add it.

i've never seen a glitch like this. Now glitches involve achievements? What's next?

I tried everything.
first I ended the game as knight over xbox live, no achievement.
Then, as bishop over xbox live, no achievement even though every player i was playing with got it.
I played scenes as knight, no achievement. So please people, if it worked for you it is not the solution.
I played the first and last scenes as knight and bishop, no achievement.
I played single player as bishop from beginning to end and no achievement.
I played a random scene knight over live and no achievement.
I did all the scenarios posted on these forums and no achievement.

I if you know a solution other then these, post please. otherwise, I don't want to here I got it with no problem because that doesn't help anyone. Thanks in advance.

One word "GREED".

Nintendo, from day 1 was making a profit on Wii sales. They have money to burn. they can afford to provide a free service. Guys, just because you don't like friend codes and the crappy online that is currently provided doesn't mean you have to pay for it. Nintendo can easily send an update an fix this for free. They are trying to charge now because they think they could do that and you will accept it.Judging from the posts, you guys are willing to bend over, so they are right.

It sounds like you guys want a longer campaign, more weapons, 4 player coop, better graphics, and larger maps. But remember that the 360 dvd disc can only hold 9 gigs of memory. The first gears of war nearly max this out. How will epic have enough space to give you guys what you want. I bet it will be like an expansion pack. epic didn't have enough time to develop this game to make it new.

Also you have to be stupid if you think this game is coming out November 2008. This game has delay written all over it
