Well if the insider story thingy is true then I believe that this is the end of the spot. While I've been a long time reader (ever since Videogames.com) I've been a registered member of game spot for less then that and while I've been at times of special events a paid subscriber, I know that the reason I picked this site over many others is the credibility that I had on the reviewers. Just like I would think other people came to the G-Spot.

If the G-man was fire for speaking his mind and informing the people then cNet has no ethic and as far as I go all credibility on the G-Spot is now gone, In away I see it like censoring freedom of press. and If this actions are true then what other proof do I need to know that cnet does not care for its costumer/user base, While they are not providing good they provide a service there for we are costumers/Users and I ask you this who would you rather do business with, a Honest person or some body who wants to sell you a bad product cause he gets a higher commission from it? I know I don't need to answer my question.

While I am not a big fan of the G-man I respect hes work and the service he PROVIDES me with, and I am sure he will have many offers from respectable people after this ordeal cause it show he has honesty and integrity. Further more any respectable reviewer with the least bit of dignity and self-respect working for G-spot should start looking for a different job if they want a respectable career, not to mention how cnet actions send the message that they really care for their pockets instead of their workforce (I know that it's all about money but even that has it's moral limits). Why would you fire someone for doing their job Good?? G-man was doing nothing wrong but giving He's reader a good review of a bad game. If Edios wants good reviews THEN MAKE A GOOD GAME!!! I was thinking of buying the game even after the review but no more. Although the biggest villain to me is cnet.

I mean come on why lock him out of his office and ask him to leave the building?? If true then I would of felt humiliated to say the least, it almost sounds as if they intended on humiliating the guy before letting him go. They could of just had a private talk with management and then end it in good terms I hope who ever is responsible for such action cant sleep at night or day.

As far as I'm concerned as soon as I we get a statement from G-Spot/G-man on the events I'm out for good and even if we don't then I'm still out. All good things must come to and end but it really suck when the end is not on a good note, I guess that "Gamespot" is the "FOX" of the video gaming industry I mean manipulating reviews of games releasing them after the games was out for a few day is almost as bad as manipulating presidential elections, I always thought that there was something wrong with that but I was thinking more along the line of under staffing or something not this!!! this is BS!!! in a way the influence us all to spend our hard earn money to buy lame game for lack of better words. When the reason I personally came here was to filter the good ones out I feel used!!

As if the gaming industry was not under enough political stress/censorship already WTF!!! i as myself now I feel backstabbed man, and I would like to invite anyone that really cares about the gaming industry like I do (cause cNet/Gamespot obviously don't) to move on to other sites, I believe the best action we can all take is to cancel their subscriptions as well as suggest in our post other site we trust for other would be EX-G-Spot user to move to, this will sent a message to cNet/G-Spot as well as any other sites that we want unbiased/unpolluted/unaltered/uninfluenced service as well as hurt them more then anything else

If all this people care for is their pockets then thats where we have to hit. I like to think of our community the "Gaming Community" as as community that that although with all the fan-boys and console war know how to come together when its needed.

While this situation directly affected the G-man we need to understand that its bigger then him as we are all part of this community, what better way to show our support to him the to show we will not be silenced and or or used, another way of dealing with this it to make a bot/script the keeps pinging/refreshing random gamespot pages every so many seconds to bring their servers down (I lack the know how but I'm sure somebody out there has the knowledges to make it happen) with enough people out there running it their servers will over load I'm sure. But I still believe the best weapon is to just suggest alternative to Gamespot in our post from now on, so I invite you guys/girl to be the first and to keep the ball rolling no matter if the sugestions have been repeated.

PS. Ill be out of the spot as soon as they or Jeff release a statement and if they don't in 48 hours then I'm out anyway and sorry for the long post but I needed to speak mi mind, hopefully I don't get fired for that...... ohh.... wait they cant fire me!!!! thanks for reading this far.
