So I've been playing guitar roughly 9 years now and just earlier this year I finally got a "nice" guitar.  It's a Schecter Diamond Series C-1 Plus 24 fret.  Well, as nice as it is and how it already sounded, I decided to do an upgrade and enhance it's sound to a new level.  To do this I put in some new pickups.  Pickups, for those of you that aren't gutar knowledgeable, are the magnetically coiled "blocks" that lay under the strings that actually "pick up" the sound.  It came stock with some kind of Duncan Designed humbuckers.  So I chose two very nice pickups for a great combo.  Both are Seymour Duncans, an Invader on the neck slot, and a Dimebucker (Dimebag Darrel from Pantera signature edition) on the bridge.  So here's some before and after pics.  Wish you could hear it.

a Christmas Gift to myself really.  I just bought a 30GB Video iPOD and an iLuv 42 hr battery extender/protective case.  I got it all for about $250.  Kinda steep but a great deal.  I already have 2400 songs on it.  I really needed an upgrade from my last mp3 player.  Here's some pics with the iLuv and it playing the "Make Love not Warcraft" episode of Southpark.  they're thuimbnails so click to get a bigger pic.

How do you guys like it?  I was at work and bored so I did it in paint, which explains the pixel quality.

Well, Isplurged on an HDTV finally.  I've been saving a bit for it.  I was gonna get this 32" LCD for $1500 but then I saw this at an electronics "sale-a-thon".  It's a Pioneer 42" Plasma HDTV up to 1080i res's.  It's now my new pc monitor until I move some furniture around and get some stuff straighted  out.  Here's a pic. I had to edit the first because it had a playboy calendar in the back. :D

So imagine an entire military base having a huge Halloween Party. Well, it happened, my base had a bunch of awesome parties that melded into one big party last nite. There was anything and everything for coustumes and even a few live bands. So here's some pics, wish you all coulda been there. I'm the guy in the Blue toga with The Sword of Omens (Thundercats).

that last one is me at about 4 in the AM this morning after the party.  So I know it wasn't even Halloween yet but oh well, we still had a lot of fun.  And I remember every part of it even with all the alcohol.

I was bored and wanted to change my avatar.  I made it in paint. Whatcha think (especially if you recognize it).  I'm gonna try to fix the colors on it.

Well, the title pretty much explains it.  And I was just thinking, "Geez what the heck does it take to get PC Aficianado?  I've posted in PC Hardware a crap load of times and helped a lot of people!!  ARGGHH!!"  Well, now I have it so that's over with.  Leveling I really don't care about so much, but I like the title.

So, I sold my car like 2 years ago before joining the Air Force.  It was a pos 93 Taurus LX.  I also had Blue 81 F100 pickup with a rebuilt 69 mustang engine and new tranny.  I sold that before the car.  I haven't really needed a car since I joined the Air Force mostly because where I've been for the past 2 years I couldn't have one.  So I've been saving up for next May to get a newer car.  The decision has come down to one of these
