My console mfg. 01/04/06 crashed a few weeks ago and instead of paying MS for their design flaws to be "repaired", I have refused to pay anything and have instead formed a Yahoo group for the purpose of bringing together gamers who have had a system crash and have had to either pay to have a faulty 360 console repaired or have received a number of replacement "refurb" units that have crashed immediately. The group has only been in existence for a week, as of today, but we already have one member who was successful in getting his console repaired for free by using the group resources to put pressure on MS.

I also have a number of informative links there on the Xbox 360 problems, that are open to the public, without requiring membership in the group in order to view them. I posted a seperate thread on this that was modded. I was told to post here instead. However, I was also told not to use GameSpot to "crusade for causes". I have no idea if I'm going to get nailed with a TOS violation if I put the website link in here, so I'll just tell you the name and you can search Yahoo groups for us on your own. I am getting more experience than I ever wanted in this arena, but I can probably help some of you get your problem resolved without having to pay anything.
