Nice, yet the controllers should be the 6 button versions seeing as there are some fighting games that basically require 6 buttons. Pretty lame to include those games and not include the controllers you need to properly play them.
@silv3rst0rm: 4k isn't early tech nor are people overpaying for it and you can buy 4k sets for a low enough price. There's also the fact that anyone wanting to buy a decent TV will be buying a 4k set as well.
Nintendo saying they are going to ramp up production probably means another 50k units. This company is horribly inept when it comes to how it is managed. Look at the SNES Classic pre order debacle and the NES Classic as great examples of that.
I wonder how much more revenue Nintendo could be pulling in if they didn't keep shooting themselves in the foot.
While it'll be pretty impressive if the console can do some games at a true 4k/30fps, I am one of those who would rather play at a lower res in 60fps than have to go down to 30 at the higher res. I am a mainly PC gamer who has the ability to game at 4k and I feel framerate simply trumps resolution.
80 gigs to play a game that looks like a polished up/higher res Gears 2. Ridiculous. I am all for games in a series not having huge changes but this looks like nothing has changed or improved in the last decade save for the resolution/graphics. Even the animations seem the exact same.
