No school today, or yesterday!

Pretty basic: stay home, play DS, go on the computer.

It's still a really fun game, it just depends on what you like. I prefer Diddy Kon Racing.... but lot's of people like Mario Kart better.

(Diddy Kong Racing has way better one-player-mode in my opinion)

If he really wants the game, then buy it: but he may want to wait for Platinum. (Although Diamond and Pearl are excellent games)

If your talking about those game link things, then no, those are needed. You can trade & battle wirelessly, and if you have wi-fi you can battle other people to. I would suggest going into the underground with him; I love that place. xD

I wouldn't get one if I were you. My brother got one for last Christmas, and I played for a while, but it got old really fast. Also, if you have wi-fi, the internet server is terrible...

You should spend it on a better system or a bunch of games. Just my opinion, though.
