I think that he next CoD should be like a futureistic thing. It could have a title like Call of Duty 5: Future of War or something like that. Or maybe we have too many futureistic FPSs out there? Is that possible?mechworrior762

Probably, but if they could differ the futuristic games from chrome guns that have laser ammo, into some kind of... hardcoreAmerican hitman /w alot of tatoo'swho gets transported into the future with his trusty battle rifle, tries to take down the enempy robot race threatening to destroy the world. Or maybe not. It is a Call of Duty afterall... but they could have Soap McTavish as the main character.. OMG so many possibilities, i wish i was a game developer, looks fun and gaming is my hobby. I

Iunno about you guys but I think it would be sweet f they made a CoD 4 sequal, (not anytime soon) but picked up the story where they left off, I don't think the other CoD have had a story that lasted more than a single game, so I think they should maybe do something like, bring Captain Price back (somehow other than just having him show up) and doing something amazing like the ability to pilot submarines or multiplayer tanks maybe?

Oh BTW when you repost don't just go "Bad idea" add some insight and discuss the theory?

I think it would be awesome because I really got into the character and thought the last Act was simply stunning!

Anyone?

Nasty_butler_9

Yeah, that seems sweet, i kinda got into the characters too, it would be fun to be 'Soap McTavish' at an age of 40-50, kicking the russians ass (ass=donkey lol). Anyway, i wonder how they can make the next cod interesting, maybe insert some new perks and guns? Improve sniping? Have it 'futuristic'. Doubt it, probably make another WWII.. bore.

UNCHARTED! I think the sequel is going to be very amazing especially graphically coz the first one was already gorgeous! heaven_in_hell

As true as that is, the graphics being amazing, it's kinda hard to get better than perfect :p

Well, obviously not perfect, but fantastic none the less. Check out crysis for the PC, my friend showed me it today on his new computer with 512mb video card, and he said it's not even the best graphics the game is capable of.

But anyway, GRAPHICS ASIDE, i chose uncharted, it is a fantastic game, and the story was great, they could definitely continue this game for years, and show Drake through his lifetime, where he ends up finding a pit full of gold at the end of it (like 60 or something), it would be funny to see O.A.P's jumping from cliffs and fighting zombies lol :p Then again, i'm sure my grandma does that kind of stuff, she's always so active and... shifty :/

adIm seriously expecting an uncharted 2, its at the top of my list. This whole entire game, felt more like a movie, and an adventure. Purely one of the best gaming experiences of my life, the twists, the ending, everything. Does anyone know if Naughty Dog is planning an Uncharted 2? Im defineately writing a review for this later.

Taylor9124

I feel exactly the same, Naughty Dog really outdone themselves, a great game. I'm buying Uncahrted 2 the day it comes out... even if it means selling one of my arms to a scientific research facility.

How good is this game? I heard it was pretty good, but any user thoughts?

RandomTask221

Amazing. Best graphics ever on the ps3. Really life-like, and it has replay value - You can play it again and again, i reccomend doing it on normal/ hard first, then crushing. You unlock crushing by completing the game in hard, so i played on hard first, then crushing. Plus it's a real task finding all those treasures (unless you use a guide.. tut tut tut). All teh challenges are quite hard and sometimes tedious, like the eddy's golden gun 50-kill challenge. I've easily spent 20 hours on this game. But if it's value for money, oblivion lasts ages, like more than 100-120 hours+ I've played for like 5 hours and hardly accomplished anything. If i had to choose between uncharted and oblivion, i'd choose uncharted. If i had to choose between uncharted and assassin's creed, i'd choose uncharted. If i had to choose between uncharted and COD4, i'd choose unchar..... wait, would i? IMO online games > single players. But i honestly think uncharted is good enough to beat COD4 on this occasion. But seriously, if i had £40 spare and i just got a ps3, i'd choose uncharted seeing as though it's so beatuiful to look at and so life like.

Hard decision. But Uncharted just about beats all other games i've played. But then again, i haven't even opened The orange box yet, that looks good.

dis is 1 of the best games dat cum out on ps3.i wouldnt buy it coz i finished it in1 day but its a great game.wish it was longer.marusic07

Are you joking? This game is FANTASTIC! I just played through it. It's not really short, 9-10 hours onhard mode, about to go through it on crushing mode. So that'll be 20 hours+ game time, which is pretty good considering it's not a rpg and it could (and will be) more than 30 hours, because i'm sure in the near future i'll be playing it again. Honestly.. the graphics are so vibrant and eye-catching, they're fantstic and the story is great and is really life-like so you can relate to the characters. Sorry if some of this doesn't make any sense, i'm tired, only had 5 hours sleep last night.

Four major titles that people talk about, and the best four IMO. Please read on.

After playing Heavenly sword, Call of duty, Uncharted and Assassin's creed, I have to say my favourite is Uncharted! It's so much fun and looks so realistic, i've never seen such vibrant and realistic graphics on a game before on the PS3. The water is amazing and the scene where you discover the Spaniard boat was simply jaw dropping. They really went over this game with a fine comb and the result is a superbly clean-cut and vibrant gaming world... with an immense and deep story line and some detailed and emotional characters that you can connect with. It even has a touch of resident evil :p

Second on my list is probably Heavenly Sword. It would have been Call of duty, but it's to short (but does have replay value). Heavenly Sword, what a game! I was waiting literally months for this game, and i played the demo, it was excellent! The day it came out i ran to the shop and bought it, ran back home and played for hours. Well... 5-6 hours. It's a great game and all, but IMO if a game isn't going to have a multi-player, it needs to have at least 8-10 hours gaming time for me. Still, it's a great game and i like the fact you can be the silly little x-bow girl. It does have replay value, but i got bored after 2 goes through, but it's still a great game with nice graphics.

Next is Call of Duty: modern warfare. The single player is great and doesn't get boring for me. I would have put this game as #1 or #2 if you asked for 'best game to get' because the multiplayer is fantastic and i've spent almost 38 hours on multi-player, very addictive trying to get new badges and completing challenges. But anyway, you wanted single player, so i'm giving you single player. It's a fantastic game from whatever angle you look at it. The first time through i played it at recruit level (lol - I'm a wuss!). Anyway i completed quite easily and tried veteran... OMG! So hard! I did eventually complete it and it was really... fulfilling, great game overall, definitely worth a buy!

Last is: Assassin's creed. I was somewhat dissapointed with this game. The opening is just plainly boring. But when you do get into the game and have mastered the controls, it's a decent game. It was massively over-hyped, and wasn't as good as it was described. I personally found it VERY repetitive and after 4-5 assassinations it made my eyes bleed! But still, it's a good single player game and i would rate it 6/10 because it's so repetitive.

So overall:

Uncharted, great single player game, fantastic graphics and deep story. Rating 10/10

Heavenly sword, my kind of game, doesn't get boring, can play through it more than once (replay value). Also great graphics. Rating 9/10

Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare. Great modern-day warfare (duh!) Nice graphics too. I'd give it 9.5/10 if i included multi-player, but for single player 8.5/10 simply because it's too short, but still very fun to play on harder difficulties.

Assassin's Creed. Good game and has some nice features and graphics, combat is good, but it does get very repetitive. 6/10
