The only reason I mentioned the M-rating was because typically these games need serious development in order to survive their rating. I've got nothing against MP3C other than I suspect it can be very tedious based on what other Metroid games have been like. My gripe with the Wii is that there just aren't that many games made for serious gamers which effectively utilize the unique nature of the controls that can't be bought on other platforms which because of experience do a much better job of gameplay controls.
I 100% agree with the original poster. I got a Wii at launch mostly by chance and after TP I can't find a single game for serious gamers. My wife loves the Wii because it's so easy to play and my 60 year old mother likes the Wii because it's so family-friendly.That's all nice, but I want M-Rated games for seasoned gamers who want a real challange. The Wii is just TOO kid/casual-gamer friendly. As far as nostalgia and loyalties go I'll play Zelda, SMG, Brawl, maybe even MP3C, however I want a solid shooter that utilizes the Wiimote without being hokey.
