Thanks all, your advice has been invaluable!

These are very reasurring to me, I do think the deciding factor will be when I go the shop and feel it.

BUT if anyone has something else to add or comment on, please feel free. An informed opinion is always the best one, even if it isnt the right one :)

Thanks for the opinions, yeah, i think i will have to go into the shop and ask to see them and check how they would fit.

I hear that the G9x is designed more for claw people which I believe I am, although not to the extreme i see in some photos and I fit the Death adder fine in my claw which is closer to

I also like all the features etc, of the G9x but I dont think I will be changing computers very often as i play from a laptop. Only problem is that it looks funny and have no idea how comfortable it can be. However, I have read some not so happy things about the G9x in terms of the wheel, the same as the G500 but they seem to have different problems, one being too stiff, other being to delicate.

As opposed to the G500 which looks like a good shape, something i can change to from my lil death adder easily, however I do have some queries about it. I have read that it is ugly but I dont think it is very ugly. Additionally, I have read about the rubber gripping fading fairly quickly and I would also like to hear about the feet of the G500.

I am wonderin particularly about things like this because i would like this mouse to last me a long time, hence I am willing to pay a lot more and have it last for me and be good for me.

You help is much appreciated lads, please help me make the decision I wont regret as its not very cheap

Hi lads,

Its time for me to get a new mouse, I have been using the original death adder and I want to move to Logitech now and I have narrowed down my choice to either the Logitech G500 or the G9x.

If you have any experience with them, please advise me on which you prefer and why.

Your help much appreciated!

Most gamers I know have been saying for years that they would gladly sacrifice graphics for gameplay...

Now that this opportunity/test has arisen... seems many of them were hypocrits
