Eve is an established MMO without scripting. If you want something newer there is Perpetuum Online that's in beta. It's a sandbox, like Eve, but with mechs not spaceships. Eve is a better game though.

Complete waste of time. Seriously. I'm not a fan of the iPad in the first place, much less an MMO that is highly reliant on hotkeys to play properly.

He asked for my opinion, so I gave it. And yes, mmos literally kill people.

GummiRaccoon

No, human stupidity kills people....not MMOs...

people don't refer to wow as crack for nothing

Meh, no one died during the Evercrack years. I blame WoW for being so accessable to everyone for it being blamed for deaths.

I always recommend getting popular RPGs on both platforms as they are entirely different experiences. Most RPGs see heavy modding on PCs, whereas the console is mostly a true to the developer's design experience.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcanum:_Of_Steamworks_and_Magick_Obscura I used to play that back in the day. As far as newer games...there's slim pickings at the moment.

At this point Im just going to wait til the Game of The Year Edition. I cant put down ~$20 for the game itself and then $40 extra just for the DLC. Thats bs. Not worth it yet. Gamesterpheonix
Rumor has it that there's a game of the year edition due out around the holidays that contains all the old DLC, but not the new one.

I think it is going to be Blizzard's NGE. For those who have no idea what I am talking about google or wiki "NGE" or "New Game Experience". It's not a positive thing at all. Just like Star Wars Galaxies went back and redid the entire game, Blizzard is doing something very similar. They are starting over from scratch essentially on their game engine (not graphics engine). We'll see how it turns out though, but I will not be buying it.
