I loved the intense in your face game play of the first gears. Then the second came out and was way too tactical to enjoy. To get anywhere in that game you would have to have a team and were forced to work together and im pretty sure the majority of us just join a game with random people that have no organization and get slaughtered to a team. I understand that they want it to be tactical but the birth of gears one gave what to expect in the series. Gears 2 MP was totally another game. Now they say they want to bring back that in your face game play and i asked myself, How so? Like gears one? Am i going to walk around like ime 2000 LBS like i felt in gears 2? I hope for more fast, fluid, skill play over gears 2 dumb down everyone can play this cause we crippled every aspect of game play such as when you get shot you run like your in the opening credits for Baywatch.
For people thinking all the hardware is worth it. Yes it might be worth it if you dont have a computer. My computer can do the same as the ps3 the only thing that my pc doesn't have is The cell possessor and a Blue-ray drive. If you look at Sony's track history on storage formats it hasn't been so bright and glorious for them and no one is counting on a Blue-ray to be the standard yet. Sony is a name and with a name you expect big things. But sometimes Big things are not worth it. I'm with other on waiting for the price to be cut in half. Then it will be worth my money.
I dont think the ps3 processor will ever be use to its full potential. People complain about lack of specs in the Wii and Here is a system that will hardly be used to its full potential and we are going to pay 600 dollars for it and then 60+ for games. I dont care what anyone has to say this is an opinion. Quit being a fan boy and think for yourself.
