update: Okay I came home and I hit the broken wii-mote. I hit a like 10 times and still it was broken. So I left it alone for then entire day (Sat). The next day I hit it like 25 times and this time alot harder than list time. I even started to bang the back of the wiimote on the desk. Then I tried it and it worked. Thank youprolifik1 for your advice you saved me $42. I was able to go to walmart tell them the truth and get a refund. After I got the extanchange I went ahead and bought Mario 64 VC. Later I will pick up Zack and Wiki.chansaet

No problem man! I should have specifically told you to knock the BACK of the remote though. I apologize for any bruising I may have caused you.

[QUOTE="prolifik1"]Is it just the motion-sensing that's screwed up?? Can you still point with it?? Try knocking theremote against your knee. Similar thing happened to me 2 weeks after I got my Wii and it's been fine since.... I got it in December.chansaet
Yep only motion-sensing is screwed up. I'll try that the next time I come home (Sat.) If it fixes the wii-mote would I be able to return the newly one I just bought (I bought it at wall-mart)?

It'sWalmart. They usually take back anything. Just make up some story about the remote not working so your brother bought one fromEBgames....orsomethinglikethat.I'msureyoucanthinkofalie.

what are the controls??? like how to shoot, pass, kick, header, etcds_wiirocks
To pass, you can either press A(regular pass) or B(through pass)... or hold A or B and flick the remote in the direction of the pass. To shoot, u flick the remote in an upward kicking motion. The speed of the motion determines the strength or the shot. You can also curve the ball by tilting the nunchuk left or right. To chip shot over the goalie, do the same kicking motion while holding C. To perform deke moves, hold C and flick the nunchuk or remote left or right. I have to say shooting the ball far right of the goal and watching it curve into the back of the net has never felt so rewarding. Too bad there's no manager mode.

Does the Wii game include manager mode? How is the online play?edger2006

IMO, that's what is gonna hold this year's version back for the Wii... there's no manager mode. There's a Play Now mode, a Tournament Mode, Online play, and the Party games (Table soccer is so fun!). I haven't tried playing online because I have it before its release date so i'm scared that EA might block my online account. Unfortunately, for those of you who are looking for a single player campaign will have to wait for next year. Playing against a buddy is so much fun though.

The graphics aren't the best. The faces look good but something appears on the player's heads every now and then. It looks like they're wearing hats... but it's obviously not supposed to be there. It only shows up in-between whistle stops and the camera shows the players closeup. I'm all about the gameplay though so it doesn't bother me at all.

I've had Fifa 08 for Wii since Oct 2nd. I must say it's a LOT of fun. I really like the control scheme. Shooting, to me, feels very natural. My friends have had some trouble getting used to it though. If you have any questions, feel free. I'll answer when I can.
