No, it has every right to win goty since it is a game. but i think the game would have been way better if we got to see these charcters in action in a campaign/story mode setting. I would have gotten it if it had a campaign, but i don't touch multiplayer cause i find them repetitive and boring.

There is good news though at least and the truth is this game can't win goty in twice. So at least Overwatch can't be allowed into the awards this year or any of the following to come.
