The yellow one is the only one that has to be plugged into the tv for the hdmi to work. I tried waiting, left it alone for about 30 min actually. Nothing.
I'm not sure I understand.. when you have the av cables and the hdmi plugged in, it will display in HD? or is it just displaying through the av cables? because the way it sounds, it's not even registering the hdmi cableSword-Demon
It displays in HD over my pc monitor. It is NOT displaying through the av cables but as soon as i unplug the av cable, the hdmi goes black.
i already reset the settings and set them back up to go to hdmi again and it works but again, only if the av cables remain plugged into my tv. Nothing displays on the tv but it has to remain plugged in for the picture to display on my pc monitor over hdmi
I just bought a new ps3 slim and i had it hooked up working just fine with the av cables to my tv. i wanted to hook it up to an external pc monitor so i bought an hdmi cable and tried to hook it up. i went through all the setup and found that it works just fine but ONLY if the av cables are attached too. as soon as i unplug the av cables, the screen goes black. obviously the hdmi cable is fine otherwise it wouldnt work in the first place, and i cant have the av cables hooked up to my pc monitor because there is no input there for it. please help!
