another new machine, my third since xmas

ok so an update on my gaming rig, when i got bck to india a brought a del studio XPS 16 which is a great multimedia machine but i wanted and needed more, fortunately i was offered a new notebook at the end of June and heres the specs for you:

Manufacturer: Sager NP8662-(Clevo M860ETU) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P9700 @ 2.80GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz Memory: 4090MB RAM Hard Drive: 320 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M Monitor: 15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) TFT LCD Sound Card: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio), as far as 15" notebooks go this is as powerful as it gets, the joy with clevo is the components are user upgradable so im planning on dropping in a QX9300 quad core and the GTX280m in a year when i notice a performace decrease, but for now this machine handles everything i need it to very well indeed.

Pc specs

Ok so heres the specs of the recently obtained laptop, they are nothing special, but will keep me happy im sure, especially if you take into consideration ive only been playing with a psp recently.

ASUS M51 TA-X1

CPU: AMD Turion 64 x2 RM-70 2ghz

OPTICAL DRIVE: DVD super multi

MEMORY: 3gb DDR2

HARDDISC 250gb HD RPM 5400rpm

GPU: ATI mobility Radeon HD 3650 512mb dedicated DDR3

VIDEO MEMORY: 512mb

well thats the basic specs, should do what i need it to.

a fresh start into gaming

Well my first blog, and im quite excited just brought a new laptop, its not high end but should play most games at medium settings, i was a huge fan of gaming in my earlier days but havent really been active recently, i have had a psp for a year or so, but although its a great platform not really suited to my needs, as im into rpg's rts etc. Im heading out this week to buy my first games for the pc, have got three in mind, oblivion goty, fallout 3 and red alert 3. I dont spend hrs a day playing games but really enjoy it to relax the mind and take the mind off things for a while. Well thats it, ill be letting you all know what i think of these three games as i slowly work through them.
