What happened to Gamespot's Rating System? It seems that they cut down the scroll meters (Gameplay, graphics, sound, value & tilt) and simplified it. I certainly do not agree with this. 9.5 and 9.7 ratings do make a difference you know?
I believe Gamespot is following their other sibling's website ratings like TV.com, Filmspot.com, MP3.com etc., and that ain't cool. The old Gamespot rating system has taught me a lot about the true value of video games, and you can use its basic structure to relate with other things such as movies, TV shows, fictional characters, toys and so forth. For example, in films you can have things like: Plot, Sound, Performance, Value & Tilt. Something like that.
So yeah, I certainly disagree to the Gamespot's awful decision and hope it will be amended as soon as possible. And as Phoenix Wright would say, "OBJECTION!!!"
So who's with me?
