[QUOTE="c_rake"]You won't lose memory by watching YouTube videos. The only things that use memory are Save Files, Virtual Console and WiiWare games, and Channels.GamerBoy53
...and game discs.

Did you miss the part where he said save files?

And no, memory blocks are for saving things to the Wii or SD card. Watching videos will use a good chunk of RAM while you're watching it and I'm not sure how well the Wii will be able to handle something like that, but you can't fill up your RAM permanently. RAM use is all temporary.

NO.

I'm almost positive that you are in the vast minority in liking the 3D games better than the 2D ones. Pokemon started on handhelds and I believe that's where it belongs. Playing it on the consoles and seeing all the characters in 3D and having the attacks rendered better is ok, but it's just not the same.

I think you're thinking of the original Rock Band on Wii, which was quite watered down from the 360 and PS3 versions. However, the GHWT Wii version is pretty much identical to the others I believe.

I don't think the DSi is worth waiting for. Buy a Lite now.

If you can afford the Lite, go for it. I have my phat (I got it around the time that Nintendogs came out I believe) and it still works, but I'm seriously considering getting a Lite sometime soon.

You can just buy an SP. They're probably dirt cheap by now and they can play original Gameboy games.

[QUOTE="Razoroo"]

First of all, why doesn't this have its own page on Gamespot?

Secondly, to anyone else who has this, do you experience a glitch where you can see a ghost image of the Home page in the background, and sometimes ghost images of the HUD?

It happened when I was trying to pause the game and read the instruction manual then continue the game. It's especially evident when you die and see the white background. And I die a lot. Was the game always this hard, or do I suck?

Cesar_Barba

I remember the game being rather hard, I never did pass it my self. As for the ghost effect, any chance you might be playing with a plasma screen. You may be retaining the image that was on for more than a certain amount of time. In my case, if I play something like Guitar Hero, and then switch over to any other game, I will still see a ghost of some of the stationary objects on the screen for a good while.

Yeah, this sounds a lot like image burn-in. If you leave your game on one screen for a long time this can happen, so just don't leave your TV on forever.

There's more than just GH that suffers from no GBA slot. Probably the next biggest is the fact that you can't transfer Pokemon from a GBA game to a DS game with the DSi, but there are tons of others. You can't use the Rumble Pak, MP3 Player (Europe), Play-Yan (Japan), TV Tuner, and others because there is no GBA slot for them to go in. Not everyone uses these, but there are people that do, and I'm almost positive Nintendo will be making games that work with the camera on the DSi that are DSi exclusive. This means they're splitting their audience. If you want to play the camera games, you have to get a DSi, which means no Guitar Hero (and others.) If you want GH (et al), then no camera. If you really want both, you're shelling out $200 for a second DS.

I'm guessing they're sticking to as small as possible. If it was built like the Phat, they should have no reason to take out the GBA slot. The fact that it's gone leads me to believe they're making smaller than the Lite (though with a larger screen.)

I wouldn't bother switching over just yet. The DSi, in my mind, is looking very comparable to the Micro. The idea of it is cool, but in reality, it'll flop and people will stick with the DS Lite. Keep your Lite in good condition, and if they do come out with DSi only games (I'm guessing there will be some that use the camera) and they're really good, then you can consider trading in your Lite for a DSi. But don't do it in anticipation of those games. I don't know what you play, but the DSi can't play GH On Tour and it reduces the features on Pokemon (no transferring from GBA games) as well as hurting any other game that uses the GBA slot.
