I would have to say that In MGS3 Snake Eater The opening one when he so elegantly jumps off the plane, Also the one where he gets tourtured almost made me cry. Also when Snake has to kill Big Boss what kinda sad... And then in the end when he realizes that The Joy (Big Boss), did all of what she did for her counrty and not for the reason that you assumed as the story went. Was also awesome but sad.and when he has to deal with The Sorrow that was kinda scary but awesome.

LoL... in the end if the cut scene was in any of the MGS games, especially in Snake Eater... I loved them!

Honestly, i wish THQ would just do an overall better job on the games. I mean i play the wrestling games and ...i guess im just realy picky but, the gamepay sometimes frustrates me, and the graphics and sound KILL ME at times. it almost seems that no matter how pretty they make their games it seems as though the flaws sometimes SCREAM in your face. In comparrison to 07 .. 08 looks MUCH better .. but i guess i cant form a formidable opinion until i have the game in my hnd. but for what i have right now...i wish it could be alot better. Also i think they should keep the legends.

I find systems wars pointless. I also feel ashamed that i have participated in the "wars" but not for the sake of defending my system but to actually show people how ridiculous they sound by defending a MACHINE like any other. its like arguing about whose toater , or microwave heats and toasts things better and faster. when it comes down to it... its just a mahine, they have the features the companies want to invest and make available to you, and not because of its awesomeness in whichyou believeare bestowed upon a console like a blessing from a higher power, and honestly the games that come out for it is also based on the hardware and the MONEY that is invested by the companies that MAKE the consoles. So in the end there is NO BEST. all there is in reality ... is what is best for you! (meaning what is best for the bucks you actually can fish out of your wallet).

I sometimes feel like i am one of the very few women or chicks that actually stis and plays games. And when i hear about stuff like this i kinda get mad. I am not amued that women just sit and try out games for the sake of making them guys "happy" for about 3.5 seconds and not actually enjoy what they just did for the brief moment. I also feel like such a butch girl for playing games like men do. I become involved in the story and watch for details , try to uncover any hidden little thing and i will play the hell out of some games. My BF is a hardcore gamer as well and i am and I love it. And now my 5 year old daughter is becoming that way. I am a somewhat girly girl , ill admit that. i am into bags and shoes and lip gloss and still, if i could leave the house with a sixaxis controller as if it were my personal credit card to go shopping with i would take it and stuff it in my bag and never leave home w/o it.

Now a days i sometimes get the impression that if you are a girl and you game, you are a butch. And not beause boys label them that way, but girls themselves do. Also I absolutely HATE IT when women complain about their men playing games. Honestly if you cant beat them .. shoot try joining them!...

And yeah guy who started the post.. be happy she even touches the controller... maybe give her a chance to play a few games that she might actually get interested in. Show her other games than BioShock.I mean that game....unless you are a gamer, the appreciation wont be the same. But yeah see if she picks up the controller for other games.. maybe heavely sword. since the protagonist is a chick maybe she will relate. if not ... then dump her.

Unlike back in the 80's developers nowadays want you to finish their games. Games nowadays need to be challenging, not just hard for the sake of being hard, so developers have caught on to that over the years. Have games been getting easier? Yes and no... back then you had one or two buttons and a stick in which to control your character/ship/whatever, now you have 8 or more buttons with a tremendous amount of options and customizations to choose from. Take someone off the street that has never played a video game in their life and the learning curve will be substantially longer than if you put a joystick in their hand and told them to play Galaga.

When it comes down to it I don't think games have gotten easier nor hard but have just merely evolved. That's how I see it at least. ;)

I see your point and i totally agree wth it. But i must say i popped GALAGA in the other day and man.. i couldnt get passed level 5...LOL.. that drove me nuts. But that was better than what my boyfriend did LOL...he couldnt get passed stage 3 HAHAH KAWICE HAHA HAHA!

I have found that the more i readabout gamesand pay attention to what others say, the more i miss out on certain games,even if it is a bad one.Sometimes the worst games, turn out to be the most entertaining. Do i read up on what games to buy? Yes, but i have different tastes to cater to and i like playing the bad games because i see how they could have made it better, but its still entertaining. plus i can always take them back to gamestop to get something else.:oops:. So i dont consider myself a HARDCORE gamer even though i buy alot of games. And when it comes to being picky makes you a better gamer ,I am not a believer of that. I think a hardcore gamer will play anything at least once, make fun of the really bad ones, form their opinion, and then move on to the next game. Whether they rent or buy them, they play them and if they dont like them they get rid of it. Your collection makes you a smarter gamer, your ability to play anything and say you have play almost everything at least once and be able to form your respectable opinion... That makes you a better gamer.

People need to start making appointments to see their optomatrist because.. if youthink that it doesn't look like the CGI from a few years ago or you are all of a sudden disappointed because you thought it would look better... than get into the gaming business and make it better yourself. To me it looks beautiful and i cant wait to get this game, for the rest, sign up for a few digital art classes and get your eyes and head checked while your at it.
