The thing that worries me is that it never did it before. At least I don't think so, I play with headphones on.

Its a constant noise, its not every once in a while. Is it safe to play?

Its making like a constant loading noise, kind of like a printer, but it only seems to happen when I play Modern Warfare 2. (single player and multiplayer) It plays fine but I'm concerned about the noise.
The disc for MW2 is in mint condition, I bought it new and I don't think its ever been dropped or anything, there isn't any scrathces.

I popped in LittleBigPlanet, Prince of Persia and Resident Evil 5 and I didn't have any problems. Should I be concerned? or do you think its just the game?

Well hopefully we'll be getting a KH3 announcement this September at TGS!

I wasn't really impressed with the MP beta to be honest, single player will get me playing UC2 but the MP doesn't really interest me.

Don't worry about it overheating, just as long as its in a well ventilated area (preferably out in the open) you have nothing to worry about. Besides whats the fun in having a game system if you're worrying about it failing while you're playing.
