@Lach0121:
I bought this tv about a month ago from Best Buy for $279.00. I absolutely love it. Great picture and great speakers. Although , the tv is supposed to have HDR , on my Xbox one x settings , it says my tv is not HDR compatible .
Make sure to use the HDMI cable that came with the X1X, and try using different HDMI inputs on the tv. Not all inputs support everything that a TV "supports." Especially the lower end tiers.
Looks good. Personally, I would spend a few extra bucks and get a samsung if you can still find them on sale, but that's just personal preference.
Samsung makes a nice screen, though I will point out something on the higher tiers. The QLED TVs from Samsung are stellar for movie watching. QLED is an LED screen with extra Quantum processing. (which DOES NOT help with things like input lag)
For gaming that is a different case as OLED from LG is superior. It is a relatively new type of display with no pixel response, no backlight bleed, and true black levels (each pixel is it's own light source) and overall less input lag. Especially if you look at the 2017 C7 from LG. Its basically the best TV available for gaming atm in its size classes.
Huh, interesting. That goes to show you how much I know about tv's lol. I think I would still pick it though. I have my tv in my living room and use it for everything - gaming, tv, movies, etc. If you are a serious gamer or movie watcher and want the best possible tv for that purpose don't listen to my advise xD.
All`my family have xboxes, so I got one to play with them. I like the os interface better, the controller design, back compat, play anywhere, and the better uptime (it used to be horrible). It kinda sucks having to pay for xbox live gold just to play online when ps4 people don't have to, but It's not really that bad and they make up for it with the 2-4 free games with gold every month.
PS4 players do have to pay for PS Plus in order to game online. They also get "plus" deals, and free games each month as well.
PS3 players did not have to.
Oh okay. My bad. I have a ps3 I bought a while back because it was cheaper than blueray players at the time. I don't have a ps4 though. I just assumed.
It's actually pretty easy to get in fortnite's invite-only pve version (save the world). Find a friend or someone on a forum who is in the closed beta and have them send you a game invite while they are in the save the world lobby in-game. The game will let you in. I think you will get a day or two to play without them before you get locked out again. So you will need to repeat every time you get locked out again. I don't think you can sign up to be let in anymore, so this is the best way right now. I personally signed up who knows how many years ago when the alpha was announced, so I was let in. I let my friends in all the time so I know this still works. Have fun!
Last purchase was an accident :P. $10 worth of friggin cod points on BO3 that Microsoft wouldn't refund.
