Ah but the Holographic discs thats would be a dream, but so amazing if it actually happened.

Dont get me wrong, M$ can build a driver or console (even the 360) with BR any time it want as long they pay the royalties for it. the Holographic drive is what i was wishing for the next console even tought at this moment it is as posible as a console that makes an espresso

Theporn industry is simply indicating that HD-DVD is much easier on their bottom line, due to lower royalty and manufacturing costs. But if the big studios subsidize Blu Ray, than that's going to be the standard...

MSoft isn't tied to HD-DVD either, and they could just as easily get Phillips or someone to make a BR add-on for the 360. They have even acknowledged that's a possibility.See, it's not just Sony behind Blu Ray, it's a ton of other companies who are part of the backing consortium, so it wouldn't even be as much a slap in the face as, say, Sony having to put Vista on it's Vaio PC's.

And the barometer says that is gonna be a raining day for HD-DVD. After the article of a porn star staring in saint row I googled the actress (tera patrick I think), and I found her home page, and in the bottom of it it announced her first blu-ray movie.

BTW isn't toshiba cut the suport for HD-DVD??

I don't know if the repair center get damaged, but they didn't work for a couple of days for sure. I get the RROD last Tuesday (after I preorder Soul Calibur last Sunday :cry: ) and call on Wednesday, after checking UPS I see that the box they send for packaging the 360 has just been send.

By the way I live in Mexico, and the repair center is in Reynosa (near where the hurricane hit)
