I will be reviewig albums now and the first review should be up by later tonight and here is the review
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness
This album is Coheed and Cambria's 4 studio album, which includes amazing songs and lyrics to go with them. First off I will tell you about the lyrics, if you have been following the story then you should know what to expect from the album. The lyrics tell the story of Coheed and his wife Cambria, who's children are born with a disease and then they must kill them or something like that. All of the songs have a distinct sound to go with the lyrics, if you listen to tracks 3 and 4 you will be able to tell the difference between the lyrical styles as well as the musical styles. The album isn't heavy , but it also isn't soft, there is only one soft song on the album, most of the others include cool guitar riffs. Coheed and Cambria have their own distinct sound, although many say they are Progressive Rock, they don't really sound like many other bands out there, which is a good thing.
Lyrics 9/10
As I said before they have their own distinct sound, as they do not have many guitar solos, which is actually a good change becuase most bands have solos that aren't really interesting. The bass lines are heavy, you can always almost hear the bass even without bass boost on, which is always good. The lead singer Claudio Sanchez showcases some very amazing vocal talents, with some high pitched vocals and with the backround vocals...it just sounds amazing. The drummer Josh Eppard, does an amazing job at being a drummer with variety in each song, not one song sounds the same which you can not find that much in bands. With 2 guitars, ( sometimes 3 depends what song they are playing ) they give such strong riffs, with such power it just sounds absolutely amazing.
Sound 10/10
Now the most important part, is the album worth picking up? The answer is yes, this one amazing album that you will neever get sick of, I have listen to it almost 150 times and I am not sick of it. There is also a hidden track in the track # 15, if you wait about 20-40 seconds you will here an instrumental track. So this what I shall say, if you are not into Progressive Rock do not get the album, but if you like Progressive Rock thenĀ definitelypick this lbum up now.
Quality 9/10
