They're worth it if you're trying to squeeze every last ounce of enjoyment out of a game. But as a whole, if you're just getting trophies for reputation alone, I'd so no, it's not worth it.

true, i think its very time based, for example i only have 4 games for the PS3, two of which don't even have trophies available. so of course i'm going to get bored and try to get some trophies
there's always the people who laugh at the people who try to get trophies. i have just recently been working on getting platinum for MW2, and i'm very close, and i enjoy it a lot! its way fun to work at something until you finally get it. (or don't get it) its a nice sense of accomplishment.
do you guys think trophies are worth trying to get?
