I'm surprised the game got a 6.0 to be honest. I played it and it sucked, and from the review Jeff Gerstmann thought so too. I however don't really care who got fired and for what. I didn't get myself a total access for the reviews, those are free anyways. I did it for the great videos and Tournaments etc. I've always been telling people not to pay attention to reviews.

I did actually cancel my subscription, but it wasn't because of the "Gerstmanngate"(why does every controversy have to have gate appended to it, honestly it gets annoying) Since i have a year subscription anyways, i would rather renew it when it ended manually rather than gamespot automatically doing it and when someone posted the link i figured, why not?

Honestly people, forget about this. And please don't go to IGN, if any website bases reviews on advertising its IGN. Lets give gamespot the benefit of the doubt and wait. If this happens again you can hold them accountable.

And I remember a lot of people complaining that gamespot was Microsoft biased in their reviews after the R&C ps3 review. I love the game, its awsome and if i reviewed it i would have given it a 9/10. But thats my opinion, just like every other review is somebody's opinion. Trust me you will all be happier if you don't base your decisions on reviews.

Let me give you an example, I rented a game a few years back. It was called "Cel Damage" for the original xbox. It was great, me and my friends had a lot of fun with it. I was on gamespot one day and i thought i would check out how the game did. I think it got a 5.5 or something like that. My point is, i loved the game. I eventually bought it and had a lot of fun playing it with my friends. My point is every game doesn't have to be a 9.0 to be fun to play. people forget that 7.0 is a great score for a game. Heck any movie getting above 60 percent on rotten tomatoes is considered "fresh".

So again, to hammer in the point, forget the reviews. Enjoy the games. And for god's sake please don't go to IGN, they suck.

Alas im too poor. The only next-gen system i have is the Nintendo DS. I decided not to by a 360 until i bought a hdtv. I have about 700 dollars right now, so another 400 and ill be good to go.
