This Sunday March 24 there will be a 12 hour Foldathon where everyone who is able to run Folding@Home from 7pm Sunday night to 7am Monday morning is encouraged to do so. This will be yet another boost for the Folding@Home community and will greatly help with their research.

Please pass this message on to as many people/forums as you can.

Post in this thread and I will try and get your name to make a list of all of the people interested. Make sure your post says "I'm interested" or something similar at the top.

*Disclaimer*
If there is any danger of you PS3 (or less likely your computer) overheating, do not attempt this for the full 12 hours. Don't be dumb, don't put your PS3 in a tight place without much air circulation.

My F@H Team: Hella Good

Brand new team (of course) so I need some people. Currently about 30% done with my first folding.

List: (I'll update this tommorow)

Apparently, the all knowing Gamespot.com has made set the release date
for BF:BC as March 1. Even though I hope that it will come out that
soon I don't think that that is a realistic date. Every single other
site gives the release date as TBA and I don't think Gamespot.com has
some secret information that no one else knows about. Especially when
there are only 7 screen shots out and a few stray interviews when we
are, hmmmm, 12 days from the release.

i hope the 90% destructibility leads to Crysis like play that when you are in a fire fight the environment around you, trees, fences, barrels, BUILDINGS, are just getting torn to shreds. I know i cant expect crysis for the ps3 (still keeping my fingers crossed though) but bf:bc will make my pain significantly less, plus i don't have to pop for a $1500 gaming machine, only $600 (sarcasm)

it will only be 24 players online, i think one of the reasons they limited this was so that they could make the online play more destructible

yeah, i'm not so sure about the March 1 date, it's what gamespot says though. (I think it is just an estimate from a while ago) If it were coming out in less than 1 month there would probably be more than just 7 screen shots and some stray interviews

How can you say no to 90% singleplayer destructibility? Oh wait, you can't. Battlefield: Bad Company will have 90% destructibility in singleplayer. Just think about this. So far Resistance is the most destructible PS3 game and that only has 10-15%. There is no question BF:BC is gonna be friggin sweet. The 90% destructibility will totally alter the way you complete missions and play online because there will be no predetermined "paths". No more campers because you can just blow the crap out of their cover! Can't wait. Release date is expected to be March 1. For more info check out this site
