Pitfall Harry on Atari 2600. Easily the best looking game before SMB.

I played the game on PS3 and is the best football game I have ever played but why. oh, why does it have a frame rate problem? The graphics are great but to be honest I'd rather take lesser detail and steadier frame rate. It ruins the pace a bit how it is now. I believe is unacceptable for a powerfull system such as PS3 for games to even have frame rate problems. Discuss.

Sony is not Sega. PS3 is like 10% of the products it makes and even if PS3 fails in the long run, which is improbable, it's not a catastrophe for Sony.

I have a friend who works in Sony and said to me that he learned by legitimate sources that PS4 is out of the question althought the exact name is not reavealed and most probably is still at work.

My friend is called common sence.

Quite possibly. I own one and still play my Zelda:OoT and Goldeneye. As a console it has many pros and few albeit serious drawbacks. First and foremost it was (and still is) the first console to have a 64-bit gpu that really showed when you compared the smooth graphics with the pixelated ones of PSX and Sega Saturn. Second the controller was the first to incorporate both a d-pad and a fully analog stick along with an ingenius z-button and the four yellow buttons. The N64 controller is my all time favourite along with the DualShock and has obviously influenced the Dreamcast and Xbox-e's controllers. Last operating with a cartridge there is immediate access to any data stored in it meaning zero loading time. To be honest I believe Nintendo kept the cartridge format not so much as for having virtually zero loading time, that itself is a valid reason enough, as for piracy issues. To duplicate a cartridge is difficult and expensive compared to how cheap is to do the same for CDs.

Ironically this proved a selling point for the Playstation, harming the sales of N64, because so many people buyed the PS with the prospect of installing those infamous mod-chips so that they could buy and play cheap illegal copies of the original games. Also the N64 had for some reason a very limited RAM memory, only a handfoul of MBytes or so that did not allow the developers to exploit the capabilities of the system to it's full potential, for example blurred backgrounds as a result of the lack of memory to load many textures simultaneously. Lastly the cartridge had only a percentage of the CD's memory storage again limiting the content of the actual game putting developers off making games for the PS instead.

After all being said I would say N64 would have had even more success than the PS if it used CDs busted by having the household name of Nintendo as opposed to Sony that had only it's first console.

I bet Sony will keep making game consoles after the hugely succesful 'Playstation' franchise. My question is how will the next Playstation be named? 'PS4' sounds cumbersome and only by the fact of that name, supposing this will be it, many customers will be put off and Sony would loose many potential market share no matter how technologically advanced the console would be.

Surely the headquarters at Sony know that already and have many suggestions on the tabel, if not a final name already, for their next console. So I believe the name will most likely contain the 'playstation' word in it but without the number 4 or without any number for that reason (already xbox has done that, nintendo in the near past and countless other consoles over the years).

Predict how will the next Sony console be named.

Some silly names by me: Gamestation, Playstation++, Super Playstation, Playstation 2K. I couldn't come up with better ones.

The perfect game would have embedded a learning microprocessor so that the AI adapts to the habits of each user and thus will have endless replay value.

I am old enough to know there is no best only preference. Then I would say realistic action, sports . More specifically this translates to MGS and PES games. I can't stand MMORGs and that is a reason why i don't have much friends.
