Playin with my Wii

I actually haven't in a long time...

I play my PS2 more than my Wii. I even play my NES and SNES more than the Wii.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Wii and the two or three games I have for it. But the only good games on it are mostly first party games, and the same few characters over and over. Now, they don't really get old, but something new and refreshing would be great too.

So what Nintendo needs is real 3rd party support. How should they do this??

NEW SYSTEM. Nintendo, PLEASE come out with a powerhouse. HD, blueray/dvd, no friend codes, high resolution 1080p, new controllers, and also the ability to use the old ones. Just blow us away with a system that would give the PS3 a boner. And also keep making the Wii.

Imagine a world with the Wii, and the Wii 2.0 or the true Nintendo "Revolution"

Nintendo can continue to manufacture a cheap Wii unit, to rope in casual gamers, little kids, and grandmas, and also a mega power house mind rape of a system that puts the others to shame for the more hardcore crowd. Game compatability, control compatablitiy, transferable V.C. games, and maybe a cool innovative twsit like a churro machine. idk be creative.

I think this would be the best bet. If they had a system that really did compare with the PS3 and Xbox 360, third party support would flood in, COD and such would be just as good, if not better on Nintendo, and the Wii can continue getting craptastic minigames and whatever.

Who knows, maybe final fantasy will start releasing on Nintendo if they do that...

Oh, Snap!

I just beat Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days... and damn...

I wasn't expecting too much.. but the ending really really made the repetitive missions worth it. I mean, once again, Kingdom Hearts nearly brought tears to my eyes. It was amazing.

Also, now I realized I need to buy a PSP so I can buy Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep when it comes out.... crap...

SO! I am opening up a 'Buy me a PSP fund' and any donations will be appreciated xD

But on a more serious note.... damn. Play the game.

Sitting

So here I am, sitting at school for 2 hours with nothing to do waiting for my girlfriend to get out of her Films of the Holocaust class, and I started going over the games I need to play.

I calculate the aprox. hours spent on these games (most of which are rpg's so prolly upwards 50-100 hours each, per playthrough) and how many days of my life I will be spending playing these games. I then took into account all the games I've played, and beaten (even multiple times, Ocarina of Time?) and realized the weeks, no, months of my life have been devoted to sitting in front of a screen or holding one.

Do I regret a single second of it? No. :)

Well except maybe the the 20 minutes I played of Superman 64...

All Time Greatest Hero

Really? Gordon? I personally was pulling for link, but oh well. While it isn't unfair that Valve campaigned up the bum for this stupid contest, it did give Gordon a distinct advantage. Half Life is a PC game (other than ports), therefore Half Life fans are computer users, and will be surfing more and see the ads. Mario and Zelda are console games which have the largest fan bases of any game franchise ever. Many of us don't frequently surf all over. I for one didn't see any ads for anyone at all. Most people I know would vote for Link, but they didn't even know about the competition. So was it unfair? No. But Gordon did have a great advantage in pulling votes. Also, stfu whiners. Its a stupid poll.

Shin Megami Tensei

Oh. My. God. Okay, so I'm a late bloomer in the sense that I only just discovered SMT, but wow. That's all I have to say for now. Till next time, you stay classy Gamespot.com
