The area where the game does really well is Max paynes character and the inner monologue! The combat and levels are in varied locations but it is sooooo repetetive. You will do the same thing over and over again all through the game.And some of the level design is just poor! It is pretty easy but there are a frustratingly high number of enemies to kill the same damn way.. have I said "same" enough?
Oh boy. I did not see the flame war starting over THIS question! Anyways there were some useful points out there. Especially ones about money and using shields. Will try them out when I get home for work!
I really think im gonna give this game a skip this time around. Frankly I think the series has lost focus somewhere along the way. I like AC1 and 2 because they were stealth games. But right now its more like prince of persia with bombs!
Okay so this is my first Elder Scrolls game ever. Bought it after all the awesome reviews it got. So far its been so so, Im a level 8 character with a single handed weapon and fire. I find it hard to stay alive in most of the dungeons. And theres barely any gold to buy enough potions to stay alive. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a rite of passage?
