You can't be blamed for buying into the hype, but a person looking forvalue would do some research to find out which console has the best value. I have a 360 to fall back on, but I doubt the PS3 will be completely useless regardless of what happens. I really don't want to have to buy that HDDVD addon. This is what I mean. You won't be falling back on the 360 because it is a much better games console than the PS3. You also don't need a BR player for gaming. Your perceptions are based upon empty hype. Luckily you're in a position to benefit because you'll be able to see what I mean. Most cows won't.
