Zack is way cooler. His determination to be a hero, and always putting faith in his comrads. It's too bad the games story wasn't longer. As for Cloud, he just wanted to make a quick buck at the beggining of FF7, and then the rest of the game, he was getting to know himself. Although, I'm sure they would make Cloud seem cooler in a remake. Back when FF7 came out, they didn't really put to many emotions into the game. There wasn't enough interaction to really know the characters. So, I say REMAKE!
What are you guys talkin about, this game is great. The only thing I don't like about it, is the people who mine everything. I never had problems chating with people on this game, I actully like chatting with people on this game more than COD4 or Rainbow 6 Vegas. You actully get to choose when you want to talk. To answer your question, yes this game is like Battle Front. You just don't get to choose what you start with. You get to fly around and collect differnt types of weapons for the WarHawk, you can drive around in a tank and kill with a passion, or you can drive a jeep. There are 8 types of weapons to use while on foot, such as Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launchers, Flame Throwers, (and if you're a mine whore) mines. You start out with a hand gun and a knife, but it's not hard to find some good weapons. The maps are huge, you can customize your character, and you can easily join a friends game. Unlike in COD4 or Rainbow 6 Vegas, you need to be invited to a match to join your friends. This game is great, and if you don't like it, you have bad tastes. I'm not trying to put down COD4 or Rainbow 6 Vegas, I'm just pointing out the features WarHawk has that they don't, including choosing out of a list of matches to join.
I bought a PSP and I wouldn't trade it in for a DS, I get to play Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, Sega, Playstation, and PSP games, plus it's a video and audio player. But if you want a DS go for it. ;)
