Hey, I'm finally not level 10!:D Problem is, I'd rather be a Phoenix Down than an Atomic Punk.:( Oh, well, I've got bigger things to worry about: finals this week.

Winter Break is only two weeks away!:D But before that are the dreaded FINALS! BUM BUM BUMMM dramatic reverb (Oh, how I miss The Angry Beavers)! So, next week is Reading Week: everyone on campus studies for the whole week. My residence hall is already a 24-hour quiet area, so they're gonna be extra strict about it next week: if you can be heard in the hallway, door closed or not, you're gonna get kicked out. I don't make much noise, so this doesn't really affect me, but I can think of few people who might have a problem... I actually have 2 tests during Reading Week: my Chem Lab final (which I don't really care about since I won't pass the class anyway) and my Japanese Oral Exam (which I'm REALLY nervous about because I already have problems talking to people even if I know them). During the actual Finals Week, I've got the normal Japanese final (which will be pretty much a chapter test) on Monday, and I'm not sure about all my other classes. My Chem 152 exam will probably be on Wednesday because we've always had a quiz or test every Wednesday, but I have no idea about everything else. I'm sure I'll find out next week... And then, an entire month off. That'll be nice...

It's absolutely INSANE how good these two are! I was just WATCHING the match, and I got PWNED! I'm gonna have a LOT of training to do when SSBM comes out if I'm gonna compete...

I just started college at Northern Arizona University. And I have to say, it rules. My professors are cool, the weather is MUCH cooler than in Flagstaff than in Santa Clarita, and I don't have much homework in ANY class so I can still be active here on GS (I'm sure that'll change in a few weeks). You'd think I'd be more homesick than I actually am, but it's just so nice here that I don't really have any reason to have negative feelings. I suppose it doesn't hurt that I call my family and e-mail my friends almost every day... I surprised myself; I hardly brought any video games with me: I brought my DS and only Tetris DS, Mario Kart DS, and KoF EX2: Howling Blood to play on it. I suppose it's better that I didn't. That way, I can focus on getting my work done. It doesn't matter too much, though; my roommate brought his PS2 and I met someone in my hall who has a GCN. If you've read my other blogs or some of my posts, you'll know that I've been kind of a cocky jerk about being unbeatable at SSBM. And now you can all laugh, jeer, or whatever you want to do to me, 'cuz the guy with the GCN beat me at SSBM! (crowd LOLs, curses, and makes rude gestures at me) Yeah, I know I deserve some scorn. But let me just say that he didn't totally thrash me. We're actually pretty evenly matched: I'm a high-end jack-of-all-characters, whereas he's a Fox specialist. Out of six fights (all of which were VERY close), I won three. He's gonna set up a university-wide SSBM tourney, so we'll see how I do in that. I know that I'll at least get some recognition at that and that I'll eventually be the most infamous Smasher at NAU. Man, even now that I've lost, I'm STILL acting like a cocky jerk! Someone please tell me to shut up; I think i need some negative feedback to get over myself.

Super Smash Bros: Brawl is my Most Wanted Game for the Wii. Why?

Well, the series is a tried-and-tested awesome brawling franchise. The gameplay looks like it will surpass its predecessors. The new items, especially the "Smash Mark" (that's what I'm the SSB logo item), will make me consider allowing them to stay (I usually play without items).

The new characters are awesome. I especially look forward to playing as Meta Knight. Also, the inclusion of Snake gets my hopes up for other third-party characters in the game. If Geno from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and/or Isaac (or Felix) from Golden Sun are in the game, I'd have to equip Auto-Life because I'd die from sheer overjoy.

What I look forward to the most, though, is the WiFi. I've PWNED everyone I've played with the previous two. With the WiFi, I'll finally be able to find challenges and maybe someone BETTER than me. And if I don't, maybe I'll at least get some recognition from the gaming community. Wow, I never knew I was so cocky. Someone better deflate my ego when SSBB comes out!

Well... I've finally gotten the sense to join an on-line community centered around video games. I've only been addicted to games since I was, what, five? Thirteen years later, I find a place where I can talk to people about video games! Well, here I am! Talk to me! I don't bite... hard... often...
