Recently i moved in to my new dorm and would like to use my monitor as a tv in my room since i noticed a coaxial plug in the wall. Now my monitor doesnt have a coaxial input on it and was wondering if there is an adapter or anyway to hook them up so i can watch tv through my monitor.

This is the monitor i have: Dell 22-Inch SP2208WFP Monitor

You mentioned you had $250 for a receiver and speakers? To recommend something appropriate, it might help if we knew what this was for; are you doing DJ work? Listening at home? Is this going to be your primary stereo system? Are you planning to use this for home theater? Music only? Your PC?

The more information you provide, the better equipment we can recommend! :D

Happy gaming,

The receiver would just be for the record player and only to listen to music in my bedroom; nothing else. So it doesnt have to be too fancy

I recently received a Sherwood ST-887R turntable and I need to buy a receiver and speakers but i dont know what to look for. My friend says i can take the red and white RCA cables and just plug them into an ordinary shelf system but I thought you needed phono inputs.
Another thing is that along with the 2 RCA cables my turntable has this other cable that i dont know what it is. Any help is greatly appreciated, I just want to listen to some old vinyls. Thanks

Whatever you do dont sell to Gamestop.

Here are my arguments and statements:

1. Why are you selling Fallout 3? (Dont care about anything else you have listed there except Fallout 3)

2. If you want to sell all that, go on Ebay and list everything separately. I repeat do not sell these items bundled together, but separately. You will get a lot more for listing them individually.

3. Did i mention this? DO NOT SELL TO GAMESTOP if you care about your money...

I wasnt planning on selling to gamestop dont worry. I was just wondering how much they would offer for it and im selling fallout 3 because i beat it and have done pretty much everything
