Thought I would post my email to Nintendo just now.
I was just wondering if Nintendo tries to run their company into the ground. I just heard the latest news from Ign.com about how you plan on marketing the component cables for the Nintendo Wii.
First off for $30.00 can you make things any more overpriced? Second how about some availability in the store for launch day instead of online only. It's like you at Nintendo try to hurt yourself, these cables cost no more then $2.00 to make yet you can't distribute them in a normal matter to buy on the launch day of your console. You at Nintendo are always saying nobody cares about HDTV well guess what people do. If they don't its cause you don't give them the chance to experience it. Those cables are more then just HDTV for some people it's a standard on basically any TV you buy now HDTV or not and just gives a way better picture quality if the game is in HD or Not(Personally my TV looks horrible with regular AV Cables and it's an HDTV). I also been dieing to Play the new Zelda in all its glory in 480p(I wish I could have also had some Gamecube cables , but that was also impossible to get) and now I can't unless I order online and wait for cables to come in which should be in a store in the first place.
I love how a company like Nintendo complains about how these cables don't matter to the majority of people when in reality if you don't give people an option and distribute them the right way of course nobody going to get them cause they are a pain to get.
I swear if I was able to talk to Reggie, Satoru Iwata or any Nintendo Rep that makes these statements and chooses how to market their product I would set a ton of things straight in why these are great to have out in a store in a normal way. You can't expect to be a top company with not having the new standards in technology. Which these inputs have been going into TV’s for I think about 6 years now at least.

PS. I know this letter probably means nothing to a company, but I needed to put my input being I just really love Nintendo and the Wii and I can't see them make the same mistake twice. I could say the same for online play also which really they need to support and get on the way as soon as possible.
