I enjoyed the game enough the first time around. The hordes were more annoying than fun in my opinion, I ended up getting the platinum trophy for the game but I wouldn’t be able to play it again even if it’s remastered.

I never really got into Lord of The Rings when I was younger and when the movies came out but now I am watching the films and am pretty invested, I plan on reading the books after.
Game of Thrones had me hooked from the beginning, and I’ve rewatched it 3 times. It’s a tough call which one I enjoy more, the politics in Game of Thrones was very captivating and of course the fantasy elements in Lord of the rings are hard to beat.
What’s your guys favorite?
The last couple years I replayed all my favorite Ratchet and Clank games, and then played most of the ones I never got around to back in the day. This year I have tried to beat Jak 2, and play Jak 3 and Combat Racing. Jak 2 is insanely difficult, I’m surprised I even got halfway through the game as a kid. Next up are the Syphon Filter titles.
I think open world games are a great idea, unfortunately companies like Ubisoft just bog the game down with so many “collectables” and icons to retrieve on the map it just feels like a chore. Hogwarts Legacy was pretty bad for this as well. To be honest I have started to prefer linear based games the last few years, which is wild to me because when the open world games first came out I thought it was the best idea ever for gameplay.
I was always interested by the RTS genre as a kid but never got to play any. After seeing Age of Mythology Retold on the PS Store it had me looking into games of this genre to try out. What are your favorite RTS games and why?
Mostly this site, I used to go to ign quite a bit for their gaming news but now I mostly just read the forums on here.
