Final Fight all the way! Just so long as they start over and don't take any cues from that (bad, bad, bad) Final Fight Streetwise game.

Yes, like seemingly 75% of the world, I will be purchasing MW3. Will I be purchasing it new? No, of course not.
Please refer to the recommendation thread.shaunchgo
Really? Now what did that accomplish?
TC: Split Second is great game, I also enjoyed Blur. Maybe give those a try?
I just don't understand how a game with that few features gets a 10/10...I mean really??? The demo sucked.nightshade869
Probably because features don't make a game. Gameplay and fun make a game; Which Bulletstorm has in spades.
Nah, FPS games, like any genre, will still be popular as long as developers are still able to create new and interesting ideas within that context. See Borderlands, and Bulletstorm.
[QUOTE="vendetta97"]I had recently found a setting in the options to turn off the skillshot messages that appear everytime you kill someone and this has now made the game much more enjoyable, that is atleast for me it did.

Hmm, that's interesting because when the game started and there were no skillshot messages, I was a little disappointed but I was very happy to see them return a little later in the game. Oh well, to each their own. :P
I bought Bulletstorm yesterday and played it for a good 3 hours straight last night. So far, it's been worth every penny.
It's just ****loads of fun. Huge explosions, huge bosses, crazy weapons, potty humor, great pacing. It may not be the longest game around, but it really packs the craziness into the campaign. I'll definitely be playing through it again and again.
And to me, that's the way it's meant to be played. I really like the fun and challenge of trying to pull off new and different skillshots, going back to previous levels to try and get bigger explosions, more kills with one shot, etc.
Oh well, I think I'm starting to sound like Cliffy B right now. Suffice to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and recommend it to anyone that is also a fan of Vanquish or Duke Nukem-like games. But if you're someone who would rather have a longer game that has a more compelling story, with more, shall we say, 'traditional' FPS gameplay and dialogue (think COD, Halo), then Bulletstorm may not be the right choice for you.
It looks like buying it off the shelf will work, based on what I read on the Best Buy website. So, take that as you will.
