Somehow I am reminded of Half Life 2 art style, especially the train and such. The warehouse looks like something you can find in a Combine controlled area. Hmm, a slight influence perhaps?;)

I've noticed that there isn't a single Relic RTS that will let you frikin' rotate your structures!!! I don't remember if homeworld did it, but I doubt it!ElArab

There were no structeres in homeworld, only ships, and all your production and research was done in your mothership and carrier. Homeworld was fully in space and you can spin for your hearts content around any ship. So it doesnt actually apply for the Homeworld series :D

But good point about not being able to rotate your structures in COH, in such a dynamic RTS with destructible buildings everywhere that particular limitation was strange!

Man tough choice, I love Starcraft, Company of Heroes, Supcom, but with the term "epic".. I have to go with the Total War Series. All the others are great but only Total War gave me the sense of being "epic"

The engine they used in "The Chronicles of Riddick:Escape from Butchers Bay". It came out months earlier than Doom3, and was already using normal mapping. It even had soft shadows which even Doom3 and Quake 4 didnt have. Full implementation of soft shadows was not seen again until FEAR i think.

Also "Project Offset" seems to have a awesome looking engine. But its a unreleased game and there hasnt been any update at the official site in a long time. "Sigh" :(

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]Not in the least. Gordan Freeman doesn't even talk and game movies are always terrible. Now say it with me again, always terrible.purple_MAN1832

Ha ha, hard to imagine them making a movie with a mute protagonist.

Exactly, but gordon wasnt actually "awake" during the 7 hour war. So, the movie should be about BARNEY!! :D But seriously, Hollywood would just ruin it :?
