This is sooooo wrong! A company CEO's decision (obviously to his own short-term financial benefit) against the director's wish to release it for ALL available formats (DVD, Blu-Ray, HD DVD).

I wonder since the decision has been make will the studio compensate the director as now they've knowingly restricted the releaseto a much smaller HD DVD market(compared to Blu-Ray) thereby reduced the potential royalty fees which is tied to number of discs sold.
