Hey guys. I'm sorry to be intrusive but I'm hoping some of you can help me with a project for school. I'm really not trying to spam, and this is seriously my only post. I just would really like some feedback because I do not play videogames, and never actually used a wii myself. I think since you guys know the system, the company and the industry so well you are a valuable resource.

I'm writing a marketing paper on the Nintendo Wii. I have to cover the marketing basics mainly but I also have to list recommendations on how Nintendo can maximize their profits.

Basic things I came up with (I'm not sure if they are in the works but if they are please say so):

Focus on offering wii systems in various colors much like apple with Ipods.

I read there are "wii points" maybe partnering with a company like Coca-Cola so users can redeem wii points with codes.

Working with more schools to marketing the wii fit. Challenging children to get fit while having fun, and donating a few wiis would also build good will with the public overall.

But do you guys have suggestions? What would you change about the wii? Is there a way to gain more of a market of the avid gamers? Or will gamers ultimately prefer the flashier graphics of other systems, or the computer games like WoW?
