I just got to say something...

Red Dead Redemption is literally my dream game. I've always wanted to have an open world western game ever since GTA 1. I remember vividly being a young kid, having my friend lean over to me in my grade 9 english class, and say " hey, i got this game called grand theft auto, wanna come over after school and play it? " i was like, ya, games, sure. So here we are a couple hours later, 8 of us, all huddled around this super speedy 200mhz computer, with a woping 8 meg video card, installling GTA 1 pirated on 19 floppy disks. Wow if that isn't classic then I don't know what is.

While playing this game, I found myself totally attracted to the idea of go anywhere, do anything idea. This was the idea that would dawn the love that many gamers now feel for the open world genre. Even back then I had thoughts of, I wonder if there is a horse in this, i wonder i can i shoot while riding a horse. Its silly to think now that GTA1 might have had horses in it, but back then i was naive, and was just experiencing the feelings that come with not knowing whats around the next corner in an open world enviroment.

GTA : San Andreas was almost my breaking point< I loved that game, and begged and pleaded with myself to drop this obsession i was having with a Western title. Cuase San andreas was the ultiamate in determining if Rockstar games could pull off something like a Wild West open world game. San Andreas proved to me they could. Now when GTA4 game out in all its glory on detail and physics, i was literally losing my mind. Cause i remembered way back during Red Dead Revolver, that they never really got the game out they really wanted because of it having been picked up hlaf wa through from Capcom i believe. So right away I knew it was a wild west game like GTA openess that they were really hoping to make.

Enter : Rage engine - and natural motions Euphoria physics : Yep, when the announcment of Red Dead Redemption hit the 2nd go around, after the 2005 trailer,we got news earlier this year that it was indeed coming,a nd it was looking really Hot.

So that was the day my dream came true. The delay hurt a bit, but I expect Red Dead Redemption to be out Feb - April 2010. You should expect it too.
