I bought the Xbox360 and all my other consoles for "the fun factor". I take a game for what it is, pitfalls and all. No game is perfect, but as long as it keep jeeps me entertained and has me interested in playing it from start to finish is a pretty amazing title in my books. Assassians Creed is one such game for me. Although I've just got into the game, I can tell it's going to be one of those games that compells me to play from start to finish.

If this game is the first in a Triology, I can see why the ending of this one is in a cliff hanger. The story will be tied together by the other two games and is setup to compell you you buy those when they are released. I can see myself buying all three, and look forward to it.

It looks to be a 10 in my books and am quite happy with my purchase. ( glitches and all )

I pulled the trigger and bought an Elite today as a matter of fact.

My HD space was used up on my launch Xbxo360. I like to download and try out demos and the the launch system just wasn't cutting it for me. I think the black console looks way better than the white one. I will save and tuck away the launch Xbox360 in my spare room and will use it as a backup system for now, since 360's are notorious for failures.

Later will use the Elite for my HDTV ( when I get one ) and will use the launch 360 with my comnputer station ( which is in the another room )

Unfortunately, I don't have a HDTV ( yet )....

I use a HD cable and hook it up to my 22 inch widescreen computer monitor, which gets shared with my PC through a button on in front of my monitor.

It will do until I get a HDTV. Picture quality is top notch.

There's no purpose to achievement points other than to make you want to play more. It's all intertwined with downloading gamer pics from MS ( blah, blah, blah )....

The bottom line is, it's a marketing scheme for gamers to spend their cash points.

Not saying it's a bad thing. On the contrary, it good business sense.

Both games are excellent choices.

You need to figure out what you enjoy more... shooters or racing?

I like each about the same. I'd get the cheaper one and get the other one later.

Get both.

You can then have the best of both worlds. Arcade and Sim.

I use mine horizontally since gravity has a bearing factor on the disc.

Less chance of zinging it too, inserting and ejecting a vertical disc.
