i dont even know what mine would be... i would like to see RES4 come but that will never happen
I liked the demo, but there were some alarming issues I spotted. There are two that I want to mention. My biggest gripe is that you can't run and shoot. I understand they are trying to intensify the urgency, but it seems more like an inconvenience. I understand why you couldn't run and gun in the previous RE games (which wasn't really needed back then). It begs the question: How can people like Chris be successful as a STARS officer if he can't run and shoot at the same time? We live in the year 2009. These controls feel outdated to me. All the other third person type shooters can run and gun; i.e. Gears of War and Mass Effect. I don't consider RE4 to be a horror game. Resident Evil games stopped being survival horror games after Code Veronica. RE4 was more of an action game that horror game. There's nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, I think it was a good move. However, since RE5 is a sequel to RE4, shouldn't the gameplay be better? Why isn't it? If anything, it feels a little clunky. But, it is just a demo. My second complaint is the lack of hotkeys. If I'm running low on ammo for one weapon, I don't want to deal with the clumsy inventory menu just to switch my weapon now that accessing the inventory screen is all done in real time. Why not use the D-pad to hotkey some weapons? Why not use a button that cycles weapons for selection? However, I think Dead Space did a good job with the whole inventory access during real time. This isn't my biggest gripe, but it would have been very helpful to have hotkeys to switch between weapons. It may sound like I'm ripping this game apart. Don't get me wrong, I do have some issues with some things, but it was still a very good demo and I'm still interested in this game. There's a lot of storyline I would like to see explained and with Chris at the helm in this game, it makes the game that much better. I have a feeling it will be great.gr8scott
There are hot keys. Up is your pistol and left is your secondary weapon....
