Alien isolation or bioshock. The no mans sky concept of traveling to distant planets etc would be cool in vr. Unfortunately it sucked though.

I think microsoft made one of the greatest rpgs ever - lost odyssey!

The room 1, 2 and 3 were pretty good. Check 'em out on android or steam. Machinarium is pretty good aswell.

Resident evil isnt about the co op modes or pvp, its about horror - which is exactly what RE7 is. RE7 went back to its roots, and from what i have heard, its more like the original resident evils than the last 3.

In my fantasy world i like to believe the government have highly secretive aircrafts with anti-gravity tech and laser beams.

Seeing as i live in london, i'd get out my water pistol and soak them to death.

We've had deus ex, fallout, dishonored and plenty of other games in the past 3 years and we've got the upcoming prey to look forward to. I'd say first person single player games are very much alive.
