It's logical that people should pay (and sacrifice) more to receive more in exchange.

If you're okay with console graphics you could always buy a cheaper PC. You don't need to buy the ultimate, the coolest and the most expensive one. The pluses to the PC gaming are that if you have a weak PC, you can still run the new games on medium or low, and if you have a powerful PC you can play all those games that you bought in the last 20 years again with better graphics than you played them the first time.
