DJ Hero

I received it on a championship that I participated, but, after playing it a little, I was very disappointed. It is too easy. All songs in this game felt out of place, like Hip Hop and rock, a big letdown. A friend of mine played it and liked. So he said:

Wanna trade? I give you my IIDX Gold and the turntable, and get this game, alright?

Then I said:

No doubt, trade. But, didn't you like IIDX?

Nope, too hard for me, and I was searching for this game.

Have fun, then. Hope you like it.

I was so happy, got my favorite game to play on the PS2, IIDX Gold.

Brazil: The country where nothing good comes/JP Music World Discovery Part 1

I live in Brazil, nothing good comes here. The most obscure(e.g japanese) games never appeared around here, like Pop'n Music, Initial D. I always have to import them or download from the net. Music is another thing bad here, you always hear junk music in every street, I hate to have to listen to that type of music. I always listen to japanese music or eurobeat on earphones, because no one around me likes them. I listen to Dragonforce, and other english rockbands because their music are good, such as Skid Row. How I came in contact with japanese music, you ask? Here is my story:

In 2006, I was searching the internet for a Digiband bundled song called Dragonblade(I didn't knew it was japanese), my search took me to Guitar Freaks 11th mix, a guitar game by Konami and another GF simulator called DTXMania, I downloaded it and some songs. Then, a name, Riyu Kosaka came through the same search, I went in her blog and found out she was a member of BeForU, I downloaded one of their songs as a demo and bought the BeForU 1, 2 and 3:Breaking Into Probability Changes through import sites like Play Asia. Then, Irented the KH2 PS2 JPgame and beaten it, only to hear a great ending song called Passion, I really like it and started searching about its singer. The singer's name was Hikaru Utada, commonly called Hikki by her fans.

Jam with the Band - A new music game

I got a game called Jam With The Band for the Nintendo DS and it's good, but, I didn't liked some songs.

If I could modify the cart, I woulddelete Slave 4 U by Britney Spears.

But, hereare the songs I added so far:

BeForU - Break Down! It's hard to play on the bass and drums

Creedence - Have you ever seen the rain Easy

Those are the songs I added so far, planning to add Dragon Blade (GF11th Mix), Yamato Nadeshiko Tamashii by Riyu Kosaka(GFDM V3)

Guitar Hero - Warriors of Rock Impressions

After I stopped playing Guitar Hero on World Tour, I didn't pick Van Halen, Metallica, GH5 to play, I was a little unimpressed about the versions that got released 5 or 6 months apart from each other.

After World Tour, I only played Smash Hits, the best one before GH:WoR, and...

I have a XBOX 360 and my father brought a GH version called Warriors of Rock, the best part of the game isn't the story mode, is the Quickplay+, you can play with your XBOX360 dashboard character in the game like in Wii'sGHWorld Tour version, which you use your Mii.

Beside the use of the DB character, what got me addicted to this game was the soundtrack, more than70 songs available in the game.

Paranoid(LIVE) by Metallica and Ozzy Osbourne and Sharp Dressed Man(LIVE) by ZZTop are the best songs in the game.

Console war PS3 vs XBOX 360(Graphics) and Forza Motorsport 3

Today, all that matters in games are graphics, for example, Gran Turismo 4(PS2): It could have two discs and many more cars and tracks than it has after it's release, now it has 700+ cars on one disc, which is already good, and with Forza 3(X360) having two discs, I have both PS2 and X360, I still don't have Forza 3(but I plan to rent it this weekend), but, from what I have seen, I feel that I won't be disappointed, I don't worry about the music, because I can connect my pendrive and play it listening to my favorite songs, which are all eurobeat and rock. I don't worry about graphics, I was born at 1991, the hype at the time was the Super Nintendo and Rock'n Roll Racing, I called my friends for tournaments, we played all day long, now with the XBOX 360 and PS3, we still didn't forget about our past, the RRR tournaments and online battles(Emulators). After I grew up a little, in 1998, I got a PSX, which was a great system, I got GT2, and played it until I beat all the tournaments in it, I still have the save with all the cars available in the game in my save. It was a good time...

Speedboat Attack: Its Time to Move On

Speedboat Attack

Developer: Criterion Studios(Now Criterion Games)

Publisher: Valusoft.Inc (Don't really know)

Release Year: 1997

A superb speedboat racing game for Windows 98, at its time,I played it on a P233, 4MB VRAM, 32 MB RAM, now I got a much more powerful computer to play it but I can't, but in 1998, I bought it, when I came home and installed it, man, it was shockingly cool, never seen a game like that before.

Fiveyears have passed since my first contact with the game and I returned my old pc andgot a Pentium III 550Mhz, 128 MB Ram, 3D Accelerator 16 MB video card, Windows 98 SE. First thing I did when I got the PC was install Speedboat Attack again and restart the game, I started playing again the first game I got for my PC, still a great game, superb graphics and Hi-Quality sound, played it everyday on the PC, it was the only PC in my home.

Onemore yearsince I got the PIII, I returned it and got a Windows XP, 512 MB RAM, GeForce FX5200 256 MB and 80GB HDD. Tried to play Speedboat on it, but it is now a game of the past(couldn't play). I still have my Speedboat Attack disc, the CD reader can still read the disc without hangingthe whole PC, it is now stored on its original case, now I can't play it and I am searching for alternatives to this old but cool game.

So, IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON!
