I'd assume the Asus RoG laptops are your best bet. Otherwise, there's Alienware, those boutique brands like Clevo, Dell's XPS line, and HP's Envy (the last two aren't as gaming oriented, but they're better all-round laptops).
And despite what you said in your OP, you really should consider something like a cheap Dell XPS 15+$~1000 desktop instead of dropping $1800+ on some ridiculous 17'3", 6.5+ lbs gaming "laptop" that'll struggle to get more than 2.5 hours of battery life, will run hot enough to cook on, and will sound like a helicopter once the fans kick-in (and don't forget that it'll struggle to run new games in about 2 years). Unless you're constantly travelling, you're just not going to get good value out of a true gaming laptop.

That helps. But i have a question -
I am buying a ps3 in the next week. iwill be on the move quite a bit. sois it possible to use a laptop as a screen for the ps3 if it has a HDMI port? if thats possible, then it would be better to buy acheaper laptop basically having a big screen with HDMI support. what are the options?how much does an HDMI cable cost?
