Fire is the best for leveling, as you can get some nice dps spells. Frost is better for pvp, as it gives you more survivability. I recommend reading the mage class forum on the main WoW site, as you can find some useful information there.

The new RTS from Petroglyph, Universe at War, has been getting great reviews for its multiplayer aspect.It features a world domination mode,special tactical abilities that are earned from accumulating victories, and also pc players are able to battle against console players. I was in the beta and can say this game holds much potential for being a great online RTS.
