[QUOTE="Daniel72296"]

Well, that's too bad.

I've had my PSP 1000 for about 2 years and a half and it's in perfect shape! All there is is just one tiny scratch on the screen that you barely see. I treat my games like freaking diamonds :D

ngwoo

You drill with them?

But then again, diamonds have quality grades, and only the crappy ones are used for drilling :D

Hey can it really die just like that?? shouldn't you check at a repair store or somethin like that?? i thought that the only things that COULD die where the battery AND the lens because other than that nothing should die :PKloisien17

Well, it started behaving kinda wierd lately. Could not get into any of the Settings, if I tried, it won't let me get into anything until I rebooted the system. The WLAN indicator was broken as well, and the D-pad felt kinda weird - perhaps I've been bumping it around too much and something lost contact inside the machine. I will have to disassemble it :) Warranty's already long gone.

your psp is not dead, the battery is dead.junaid15

No, that could not be. The battery was half full when I turned the thing off, I turned it on five minutes later, how could the battery have died?

LOL, it's 5.00 M33 now.

I threw my PSP in my bag with a Playgear Pocket whereever I went, I dropped it a few times really bad and once I had to

exchange the LCD :(

Oh well, I will contemplate myself with a DSLR purchase.

Perhaps a PSP go when I get my hands on some money.

I got my PSP on launch date in the US, March 24, 2005.

After so long, my PSP finally died!

It will not turn on anymore, the screen lights up but the UMD drive does not respond,

and the system turns itself off after thirty seconds.

Oh well, I didn't expect to use this thing for this long anyway. PSP go perhaps? :D

Yeah, my uncle has an immense amount of games, and he probably owns most of the classic video game systems out there (Genesis, PlayStation, NES, Neo-Geo, etc....) and we don't have to bash the poster because he doesn't have proof.

(But then again, I don't believe him, either....)

it'll probably still be quite large to carry "everywhere" because of the screen size.
