I would have to say that silent hill 1 for the ps1 is the scariest game I have ever played. I played it when I was about 11 or 12. Those demon babies in the school house gave me nightmares for like 3 years haha. Even still it's creepy with all the lights turned off and I'm almost 20 lol. Silent hill 3 is the next scariest. rancidmustard

That would be my pick as well.

I would say it depends what you like. If you are into pure arcade with big hits then get Hitz. The best simulation of the actual sport? Get the 2K5 game. The best graphics and visuals? Then 2005 is for you.

I agree with Evan.  The guy came to the boards asking for an opinion.  Isn't that what this board is for?

Yeah i think MGS3 is the best  game fop playing on-line...

Sanches34o1

Yes, but if you live in North America, the servers will be shutting down in less than 2 weeks.  It was definately a great game though.  Recently, I have switched over to Call of Duty 3.  That's really good too.

Well, I just started playing it as a replacement to Metal Gear Online whos servers will be shutting down on 04/02.  Very fun game imo as long as you aren't into the whole stats and ranking thing.  While it is true that you can rank up during a game, everything is reset at the beginning of a new round.  You also get to ride vehicles and choose characters that have different abilities.  I would highly recommend it.

I find SOCOM 3 interesting but I have been told that you can only have 4 players in a game at a time online.  Assault looks interesting though (4 player online co-op).

MGO --> Metal Gear Online btw.

I am in need of a new online game for my friends and I to play.

Any suggestions?

For each suggestion, please give me some pros and cons (hey even the best games have them).

Thanks in advance

I'm sad... why keep Portable Ops and get rid of Subsistence's online...Frostbyte1120

Oh man...I am with you on that one.  I went on Portable Ops and unless you play the game through multiple times to get your characters' HP and stamina up, you are screwed!  Even then, all you run into is players with hacked characters who have MAX stats in all their categories.  At least in MGO, everyone used the same characters online.

I really liked MGO.  Sure, it had its share of cheaters but which online game doesn't?  I'm sorry to see it go down.  Regardless of online though, I still find Subsistence much better than MGS3.  The camera alone did that for me.
